Will be working under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Should be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance. Manufacturing background preferred.
50%- Electrical/HVAC Maintenance- Work with, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
30%- Cross train into other shop disciplines including building equipment, general boiler maintenance, production machinery upkeep/repair/maintenance, general welding and millwright activities.
10%- General shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing.
10% - Installation of new electrical equipment
High school graduate or equivalent and 2 years of directly related experience. Will be required to obtain boiler operators license within first year of employment and Freon recovery license by second year. Requires valid Drivers license, U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or other status as a U.S. Person.
Desireable
Qualifications: Training from a trade school or college is a plus. Strong experience/training in one of the following: HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical background. Must have own required tools/multi-meter to perform normal maintenance duties. State Licenses are a plus. Continued education in a maintenance discipline and cross training into other disciplines within the department will be required. Must be available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and be on call as required. Must be very safety and environmentally conscious. Regular and Predictable attendance will be expected.
