Information Security Assurance Analyst / Information Systems Security Officer / Information Systems Security Manager
Job Description :
Candidate will provide multi-faceted Information Assurance (IA) support to the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Security Team in Camden, AR as an Information System Security Risk Analyst / Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Performs routine duties in an industrial security office. Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DOD collateral classified programs. Candidate will assist with ensuring classified information systems (IS) are compliant with Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Chapter 8 and Industrial Security Field Operations (ISFO) requirements. Candidate will assist with interpreting government security directives to determine technical IA requirements and assist with preparing written instructions to facilitate proper security implementation. Candidate will implement, and maintain system security plans, profiles, certification reports and other documents as required to implement RMF, NISPOM and ISFO requirements. Candidate will provide security oversight for various system configurations and must be able to collaborate with other security disciplines to ensure all classified computing assets are properly accredited. Conduct IA security education training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Assist with providing initial and on-going technical security support regarding system architectures, certification and accreditation (C&A) requirements and training. Assist in performing self- inspections to measure regulatory compliance. Perform weekly system auditing, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management and system certification/decertification. Interface with internal/external customers to identify requirements and provide problem resolution. Assist with publication and maintenance of security directives, policies and procedures. Develops and conducts general security education classes and material. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership. Candidate will perform other associated duties as required and take direction from senior security team members. IT background preferred.
Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of the NISPOM (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual). Experience working with classified information systems utilizing RMF (Risk Management Framework) and or NISPOM requirements. Ability to author system security plans, maintain accreditations, and perform technical certifications for accredited systems. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance with at least an interim secret security clearance prior to start.
Desired skills
Thorough understanding of RMF requirements. Prior ISSM (Information Systems Security Manager) or ISSO (Information Systems Security Officer) experience. Familiarity with SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol). Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Linux/Solaris, and server management tools. Knowledge of system and network administration.
Security
certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Candidate should possess knowledge of IT processes and COMSEC keying hardware.
Must possess strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills. Must possess the ability to work with multiple customers and must be able to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well within a fast paced team environment.
