Senior Engineer, Tools & Design

Overview Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Senior Tools & Design Engineer to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas.      Under limited general direction, determines approaches to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices. Designs Manufacturing tooling for the production of solid fuel rocket motors and warheads. Develops jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi-automated equipment to cast and assemble the final product.   This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher. Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 60% - Design mechanical equipment using unigraphics NX CAD System.   30% - Interface with production, program and safety to develop requirements and tooling needs.   10% - Define existing equipment problems and design repairs and modifications. Requirements Requires a Bachelor's degree in a mechanical design field and five (5) years of related technical experience in the design of tooling to support manufacturing (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Must have experience using a solid modeling program such as Unigraphics NX, Pro-Engineer, AutoCad Inventor or Solid works. Must have working knowledge of air controls.   US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.  Job ID 14306

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
