Director, Manufacturing and Production Planning

Overview Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout the world. We offer a complete line of propulsion products for launch vehicles, missile defense, and advanced hypersonic propulsion.   We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing & Production Planning to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas. This role will work with Camden Site Leadership and Program customers.  Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 20% - Provide leadership and management for the Camden, AR operations including Production, Material Control, Non-BOM purchases and Manufacturing Engineering and indirect to Safety, Quality.   20% - Provide leadership to a diverse team and mentor the team in achieving operational excellence.   20% - Leader interactions with external customers and government officials that visit the site.   20% - Ensure compliance to both safety and QA regulatory offices. Ensure that both commercial and government QA certification are maintained through site compliance.   20% - Lead all site activities to ensure that products are produced to schedule and budget. Interface with Program Managers to ensure alignment of resources and capabilities to meet business demands. Requirements Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience pertaining to the TOW program strongly preferred.   US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required). Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.     Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in standard manufacturing and office settings and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
